We're really excited about the feedback we're getting from our Sedation Dentistry patients. Although the patient is not technically "asleep", most patients describe the experience in that way. Sedation dentistry is a miracle for patients with high anxiety about dental care. It is also a great option for many patients with extensive treatment needs, since this allows them to combine multiple appointments into one longer appointment.

TMJ is an acronym for temporo-mandibular joint, which is a fancy way of saying jaw joint. TMJ problems include a popping sound and sensation near the jaw joint. That's why some patients refer to TMJ as "That's my jaw!"
