Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include coinsurance provisions, a deductible, and certain other expenses which must be paid by the patient at the time of services. Reimbursement amounts are not, and never have been, a guideline for quality care. Our office does accept assignment of insurance benefits after verification. We accept traditional and some PPO plans, but no DMOs. If you prefer, we will provide the paperwork necessary to file your own insurance. Each patient accepts the responsibility for payment in full, for services rendered including those fees not covered by insurance. Patient co-payments are due at the time of service. We file out of network benefits for GUARDIAN and HUMANA. We also accept any traditional plans. Please be aware that cosmetic procedures are not covered under insurance and make arrangements accordingly.
Payment is expected at time of service. In treatment involving multiple appointments, payments may be divided equally amongst your visits with the balance payable on your last date of treatment. If you have qualifying insurance, you will be expected to make an estimated payment for that portion not covered by your insurance plan.
