Meet Dr. Amanda del Cueto
Dentist in Tampa, FL
Hello! My name is Amanda del Cueto (soon to be Amanda Dillinger!) and I love being a Tampa dentist. I was born and raised in Tampa, FL by a Cuban American Family and I was surrounded by dentists all my life. Teeth were taken very seriously!! I knew from a young age I wanted to follow in my family’s footsteps and become a dentist.
I graduated high school from the Academy of the Holy Names. I attended University of Florida (Go Gators!) where I studied Food Science and Human Nutrition and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. From there, I attended and graduated from University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. UK Dental was a great experience full of hands on experiences and one-on-one instruction.
While Kentucky was a beautiful state and a fun adventure, I was excited to come back home to Tampa after graduating in 2015. Being a Dentist in Tampa has been my lifelong dream. I’m so proud to serve this amazing community. One of the most important parts of my practice is my membership and continuing education. I believe that if you aren’t learning, you’re falling behind, so I always keep up with the newest innovations and updates in the dental field.
I am currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. I also participate in a SPEAR study club in which I meet monthly with other esteemed dental professionals and specialists to discuss all things Dentistry.
In my personal life, I am a new homeowner and am getting married in February of 2020. I love to work on my new house with my fiancé, Derek, and rescue dog Harley. We hope to foster many more rescue dogs in the future. My steady hand with dentistry has given me a knack with calligraphy, as well. I can be persuaded into make crafts for friends. When I’m not working in the office or at my house, I love to cheer for all Tampa teams, and the Florida Gators come fall. I also love to travel and check out new restaurants – let me know your favorite spots!
I’m thrilled to be a Tampa Dentist and strive to get to each of my patients on a personal level, as well as in a professional capacity. I hope to see you soon, and remember to floss!
