Tampa Dental was established by Dr. Laz N. Kavouklis in 1994. His son, Dr. Nick L. Kavouklis, joined Tampa Dental in August, 2008. We welcomed Dr. Kristina Villafria in October 2022 following Dr. K’s retirement in 2021. Our practice is a family-friendly, high tech, affordable practice with a very experienced, caring professional team known for providing quality dentistry in a comfortable, caring environment.

Nick L. Kavouklis, DDS & Kristina Villafria, DMD have advanced training in many procedures. They are committed to continuous improvement and staying abreast with the advancements in the dental profession.

Lovely staff, everyone makes you feel like you are the most important person there. Everything is explained before and during the procedure. I was so impressed I now take my two children. We have been patients for 2 years now and we moved out of town but keep going there because they are great!

I have been going to Tampa dental for over half my life. I'm not an easy patient, to say the least! I have terrible teeth with lots of issues. Dr Nick always takes the best possible care of me, is patient with me, and fully explains all procedures. Most importantly they do everything they to make me as comfortable as possible during each procedure (including providing me medication). The assistants are always super friendly, helpful and patient with me and my nerves. Both doctors are kind and compassionate and truly care about my well being!
